And yes there may be pictures.

That last post was well. . . . . . . let’s just leave it at that. I will tell you the weekend got SO much better than that night/morning/day!

I called my girlfriend, we’ve been friends since we were kids, she knows me inside out as I know her the same, that kind of friendship that you can go months without talking and get right back into whatever is going on with the other just as if you’ve talked daily. So anyway, I called her up to see if she was working over the weekend and she wasn’t (yeah) so I said “Let’s go out?” she said “ok, what’s wrong? What’s going on?” I replied, “Loads, I need to get drunk.” She laughs and says, “I’ll pick you up at 8 tomorrow night”. Or at least that was the gist of the conversation.

So my mom and her fiancée came over to watch the hoodlums for me. Katlynn said something like “bye mom, don’t you all be driving drunk!” which I found hysterical due to the fact that I never mentioned where we were going, why we were going out, anything about alcohol and the last time I drank anything was ages ago and it was like a single glass of wine! Kids, what’re you to do.

Well we were off. We drove around for a little while dishing and trying to figure out where we should go. Once we had sufficiently realized that it had been so long since we had been anywhere that we had no idea where to go we ended up at the Stables. It wasn’t crowded, we found to stools in the corner and we ordered Tequila Sunrises, and oh how it went from there! We ended up seeing friends we used to run with, oh so long ago! And we all went to Quapaw and once there it seemed there was a high school reunion or something. I hadn’t seen that many people from those days in years! It was so great. We drank WAY TOO MANY of those Tequila Sunrises and something called a yeager bomb? (oh neither of us drove anywhere) I’ll leave the bar part with, we were there when they clicked the lights on! Couldn’t even begin to tell you the last time I said that! Then there was this cycle I slide on to the back of (yes I knew the driver, hadn’t seen him in years, but it was just like I’d seen him yesterday, -and get your mind out of the gutter, he’s always been a friend in fact back in the day he got me home safely and took care of me on more than one occasion!) and oh, I forgot how good it feels to be on the back of a bike like that! And for all you worriers out there, he hadn’t been drinking, he had been in the casino part and we happened to run into him when we were leaving, so I was safe. Anyway, it was a great time, my girlfriend was probably having major flashbacks when she looked out the truck window and saw me getting on the back of that bike!! Lol Yeah, I didn’t used to be so innocent!!(quit. Laughing.) It wasn’t the first time in our friendship that we were somewhere and I ended up on the back of bike waving! Oops! Anyway the truck she was in was going to the same place the bike I was riding was going so it worked out, and she wasn’t even mad at me. Although, by 4am her husband was ready to skin us both! Yeah, he had stayed home w/the kids. Apparently, he’s a saint and didn’t actually have her things packed when she finally got home on Sunday! He did however, stipulate that if we are to go out together again, he is coming with us and being the driver so as to assure we don’t well, have a repeat! Saint I tell ya! Yeah, well by the time we got to my driveway it was about 4am, we sat in her truck talking about how she couldn’t drive home and I couldn’t drive her and her husband well, as you can imagine he wasn’t coming to get her! And we were listening to the radio and apparently fell asleep, oops! When the serious thunder started at DAYLIGHT! We woke up to find her battery was DEAD, due to the radio being left on! So we rolled out of the truck and I do mean rolled and stumbled to my back door. As I walked into the dining room I come face to face with my 11 year old that is up looking out her window because of the thunder. Yep, busted looking like I was just getting home at 6am, ummm yeah still drunk cuz all I could do with this realization was laugh. My friend and I came to the conclusion that she was stuck so I laid down about the time baby divinity wanted a bottle (which I gave him) and then Katlynn took him in the living room w/my mom and I effectively passed out across my bed, fully dressed. I did however take my boots off first! When I awoke later, I found my friend out cold on kiersty’s bed!

I was one tired girl come Sunday. Luckily I apparently got drunk enough that I bypassed the whole headache/puke/crappy hangover! How I managed that I’ll never know because at 10:30 Sunday morning I was still quite tipsy and just for future reference a Mexican frozen dinner at this point rocked!! If that helps tell you what state I was in!

My friend and I decided we’re too old for that kind of a night and should really rethink it if we ever decide to try that again!! I do, however, owe her because I so completely needed that night out!

And for the record, I did nothing bad. Ok, except having way too many drinks! And on a final note, that I actually didn’t realize until the next day, I didn’t buy any of my drinks all night and yet I was never without a drink!! Aren’t those the best drinking nights!!

Although I can't do them as often as I used to, sometimes you just need nights like that! I'm so glad you had fun and bypassed the rotten part!
